Settings to control marketing information for clients

ezyVet has marketing information settings to control the marketing information that clients receive.

The table that follows gives each setting and its function:

Note: The Receive marketing communications setting is only available for organizations that are in the European Union.
Online portalIf a client wants to receive marketing information, they can select Receive marketing communications:
  • When they sign up for the online portal for the first time
  • In the My Details screen of the online portal
No Electronic Marketing (Spam Act Opt Out)
The No Electronic Marketing (Spam Act Opt Out) setting
Contact recordIn the Options tab of the applicable client contact record, staff can select No Electronic Marketing (Spam Act Opt Out) to tell ezyVet to not to send marketing information to the client.
Note: The No Electronic Marketing (Spam Act Opt Out) and Receive marketing communications settings are connected. As a result, a change to one setting automatically causes the other setting to change. For example, if a client selects Receive marketing communications, ezyVet automatically clears No Electronic Marketing (Spam Act Opt Out). Or if you select No Electronic Marketing (Spam Act Opt Out), ezyVet automatically clears Receive marketing communications.
