After a practice manager does the necessary configuration, you can make boarding bookings for patients.

1. Select Dashboard.
   
2. Select Boarding.
   
   ezyVet shows available boarding calendars of your site.
3. If applicable, use the Department box to select the department that has the boarding facility.
   
4. If applicable, use the Species box to show only the boarding facilities that can have bookings for the selected species.
   
5. If necessary, use the date button to select a date.
   
6. In the booking calendar, select and drag the applicable date range.
   
   ezyVet shows a New Boarding Booking dialog box.
7. In the Client box, select the applicable client.
   
8. In the Patient box, select the applicable patient.
   
9. If applicable, use the Consult (Bill To) box to select an applicable clinical record.
   Note: Selection of a clinical record makes sure that ezyVet includes clinical procedures and clinical products in the same invoice that ezyVet automatically makes for the boarding booking. To automatically make an invoice for the booking, ezyVet uses the billing trigger of step 12.
10. In the Location box, select the applicable physical area.
    
11. If necessary, use the Comments box to enter general information about the booking.
12. If necessary, use the Billing Triggers box to select a billing trigger.
    
    Note: If a practice manager configured the booking resource to use a billing rigger, the Billing Triggers box automatically shows the applicable billing trigger. If necessary, speak to your practice manager before you select a different billing trigger.
13. Select Add.
