About practice information shown in Vello

Use the Practice Profile screen to get access to practice information that Vello shows to clients. The practice information shows to clients in the Vello client portal and in automatic reminders and messages.

The practice information shown can include:
  • Practice name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Registered phone number that you use for Vello text messaging
  • The address of your practice's website
  • Your practice logo
Note: Your practice logo does not show in automatic reminders and messages.

Practice information shown in the Vello client portal

Your practice information shows in these areas of the Vello client portal:
  • The Practice Information screen
  • The My Practice section in the Home screen

In the Practice Information screen, your practice information includes links that clients can select to contact your practice or get more information. For example, to send a text message to your practice, a client selects the link shown in the Text section.

Practice information shown in automatic reminders and messages

This table shows the practice information that Vello shows in text message reminders and email message reminders:

Changes to your practice information

You can make changes to some of your practice information. For example, you can:
  • Change your practice name
  • Change your practice address
  • Change your practice phone number
  • Change your practice email address
  • Add or change an address for your practice's website
To make changes, select Edit in the Practice Details section:

Note: You cannot make changes to:
  • Your practice's registered phone number that you use for Vello text messaging
  • Your practice's time zone
Note: Practice information changes that you make in Vello do not sync to your PIMS. As a result, you must also make the applicable changes directly in your PIMS.

Changes to your practice logo

In the Logo section of the Practice Profile screen, you can upload your practice logo:

As a result, the logo shows adjacent to your practice information in the Vello client portal. This image shows an example of a logo shown in the My Practice section of the Home screen:

For best results, make sure that the logo image:
  • Uses PNG, JPG, or SVG format
  • Has a file size between 2 MB and 5 MB
  • Has a transparent or solid background
  • Has dimensions of 600 px × 600 px
  • Has a square shape
