Release notes: ezyVet version 43.4

ezyVet version 43.4 is available from September 23, 2025.

Changes

Diagnostic interpretation request: If you select Request Interpretation directly in a diagnostic result, ezyVet automatically adds the name of the configured veterinarian from the diagnostic interpretation code to the interpretation request. If the name of the veterinarian does not show in the diagnostic interpretation code, the diagnostic interpretation request uses the name of the veterinarian from the diagnostic result.
Note: ezyVet adds the name of the case owner of the applicable clinical record or the name of the signed-in user, if the name of the veterinarian is:
  1. Not available in the diagnostic interpretation code
  2. Not available in the diagnostic result

If a medication for an external prescription has documents in its medication record, ezyVet shows External Prescription above the document icons in the medication record. Previously, ezyVet showed External Prescription on the left side of the document icons.

Easy Clinical Notes (pilot feature): If you select Tab while you enter note text, ezyVet correctly adds list items as bullet points. Previously, if a note had template content and you selected Tab, ezyVet did not add list items.

Change: Dispense type in the Controlled Drug report

The Controlled Drug report has a new Dispense Type column. The column can show Dispensed or Administered for applicable medications in the report.

Fixes

ezyVet shows custom appointment status icons correctly. Previously, some of the icons were missing.

PayJunction and Windcave integration settings: In the Transaction List section of the Transaction List tab of the applicable integration, the Amount column shows a negative value for a refund entry. Previously, the Amount column showed $0.00 for a refund entry.

If two or more staff make changes to an invoice at the same time, then one of the staff selects Save, ezyVet keeps all changes. Previously, ezyVet removed the changes of staff who did not select Save.

ezyVet does not let you use the Records dashboard tab to deactivate payment records of payment integrations. Previously, you could use the dashboard tab to deactivate the payment records.

You can select Sint Maarten in the Country box when you make changes to the address information of a client contact record. Previously, Sint Maarten was not available to select.

Fix: Inventory orders

ezyVet shows the correct product supplier in the Supplier column of an inventory order, if these conditions agree:

  1. You select Add Required Inventory
  2. In the Preferred Supplier box, you select Cheapest Price

Previously, the Supplier column showed the product supplier that you configured for the product in ezyVet system settings.

Fix: Email communication from a clinical record

In a New Email Communication dialog box, the Destinations box does not automatically show the email address of a referring veterinarian if a patient record has an email address for:
  1. A patient owner
  2. A referring veterinarian
Previously, the email address of a referring veterinarian automatically showed in the Destinations box.
