Configure the default PDF reader app (Apple macOS)

If you use Apple macOS to print labels from ezyVet, configure macOS to use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to open all PDF documents. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is necessary for correct label printing from ezyVet.

  • Make sure that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is installed correctly on your macOS device
  • Sign in to your macOS device
To configure the default PDF reader app, do this procedure.
Note: This procedure uses macOS Big Sur as an example. If you use a different version of macOS, refer to Apple's product documentation if necessary.
  1. Select a PDF document, then open a shortcut menu.
  2. Select Get Info.

  3. Select the button of the Open With section.

  4. Select Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

  5. Select Change All.

  6. Select Continue.

macOS automatically uses Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to open all PDF documents.
