User account configuration: Access settings for departments and business units

When a practice manager makes or configures a user account, ezyVet could show access settings for departments and business units. ezyVet shows the settings if your ezyVet site uses departments and business units. The practice manager uses the settings to give the user account the necessary access.

The User Access section of a user account configuration shows the applicable access settings. The settings include each configured department and business unit of your site:

The User Access section uses different icons to identify departments and business units. This table gives each icon and the information that it identifies:
IconInformation
Business unit iconIdentifies a business unit.
Department iconIdentifies a department.
Database iconIdentifies the ezyVet database.
This table gives the available settings for each department and business unit that the User Access section shows:
SettingFunction
No AccessIf you set Access to No Access, the user account does not have access to the department or business unit.
MemberIf you set Access to Member, the user account has access to the department or business unit.
Can Be BookedIf you set Access to Can Be Booked, the user account can have a related calendar resource.

Access settings for a site that does not use departments and business units

If your ezyVet site does not use departments and business units, ezyVet shows these User Access settings:

Can Be BookedIf you set User Access to Can Be Booked, the user account can have a related calendar resource.
