Template settings for remote signatures

To correctly use remote signatures, a practice manager must make the necessary template configuration. They must configure a document template. And they must also configure an email template or a SMS template.

Document template settings for remote signatures

An ezyVet document template has a Use remote signatures setting. If you select Use remote signatures, you can add a maximum of three #WEBFORM-SIGNATURE# template variables to the template. A client can enter one electronic signature for each time that you enter the template variable.

Note: When you select Use remote signatures, ezyVet does not automatically add the #WEBFORM-SIGNATURE# template variables to the template. You must manually add the template variables.

Email template or SMS template settings for remote signatures

An ezyVet email template or SMS template has a Use remote signature setting. If you set Use remote signature to YES, ezyVet automatically adds the #REMOTE-SIGNATURE-LINK# template variable to the template. The #REMOTE-SIGNATURE-LINK# template variable shows the remote signature link to the client that they select to open the document.
