Configure a document template to use in-person signatures

Before staff members can use in-person signatures, a practice manager must configure the applicable document templates.

  1. In the Number of signatures (3 Max) box, enter the maximum number of in-person signatures of the document template.

  2. In the document template content, enter the applicable template variables the necessary number of times.
    The {SignatureMedium} template variable
Note: For information about the applicable template variables, refer to Template variables: Electronic signatures and electronic forms.
Note: You can enter the template variables the number of times that you entered in step 1. If you enter more than one template variable, you must add a number to the end of each variable name. For example, if you enter three template variables:
    1. Enter the first template variable as {SignatureMedium}1
    2. Enter the second template variable as {SignatureMedium}2
    3. Enter the third template variable as {SignatureMedium}3
Tip: You can put the template variables in a different location of the document template content.
Note: Do not use text formatting with the template variables. (For example, do not use bold or italic formatting.)
  3. Select Save.
