The ezyVet kiosk feature

ezyVet has a dedicated kiosk feature that makes it easy for clients to do check-ins and emergency appointments.

You can use the kiosk feature to get many types of client and patient information during client check-in. For example, you can get:
  • Patient date of birth
  • Patient microchip number
  • Patient weight
  • Patient species and breed
  • Client address
Information that a client selects and enters during check-in syncs to ezyVet. Thus, the kiosk feature:
  • Gives an easy method to get information from new clients directly
  • Helps to decrease the manual work necessary to make records and enter applicable information
  • Helps make sure that your records are accurate
Note: Clients cannot use the kiosk feature for boarding bookings.
The kiosk feature has two primary components. One primary component is a kiosk system that a practice manager configures in ezyVet. The kiosk system has settings and controls that a practice manager can use to:
  • Change the colors, images, and text of the kiosk
  • Control which persons can use ezyVet Kiosk for check-in
  • Configure which patient and client information the kiosk can get from clients
  • Configure how the kiosk operates with appointments
  • Make changes to kiosk question trees

The other primary component is a dedicated ezyVet Kiosk app that a practice manager installs for an applicable mobile device.

The ezyVet Kiosk app

ezyVet Kiosk is a dedicated mobile app that you connect and use with ezyVet's kiosk system. Clients use the app for check-ins.

Tip: For best results, use ezyVet Kiosk with Apple iPad.
Note: The ezyVet Kiosk app is only available for Apple iOS and Apple iPadOS. ezyVet Kiosk is not available for Android or other operating systems.
Note: Clients cannot use their devices to get access to ezyVet Kiosk. They can only use the physical device that is at your organization.

Kiosk question trees

Question trees for a kiosk have the same general function as question trees for ezyVet's e-booking system. The primary function of a question tree is to help the client schedule an appointment that uses the most applicable appointment type.
