The Blue Rabbit integration and prescriptions work
The Blue Rabbit integration for ezyVet makes it easy to do prescriptions and medications work. For example:
ezyVet automatically syncs client and patient information to Blue Rabbit for easy access to client and patient records in Blue Rabbit
Prescriptions that you make and change in ezyVet automatically sync to Blue Rabbit
You can quickly and easily open prescription records in Blue Rabbit directly from ezyVet clinical records

If a Blue Rabbit prescription is not necessary, you can use Blue Rabbit to archive it. When you archive a prescription, Blue Rabbit syncs the changes to ezyVet. An archived prescription in an ezyVet clinical record:
Shows ARCHIVED in the Instructions column of the applicable prescription
Shows a value of 0 in the Left column of the applicable prescription

Access to Blue Rabbit from ezyVet
After a practice manager configures the Blue Rabbit integration for ezyVet, patient medication records in ezyVet could show a Blue Rabbit button. The Blue Rabbit button identifies a prescription that you initially made in Blue Rabbit and that Blue Rabbit synced to ezyVet. If you select Blue Rabbit, ezyVet opens the applicable medication record in Blue Rabbit.Figure 2. Blue Rabbit button
ezyVet product records and Blue Rabbit
When you use Blue Rabbit to prescribe a medication, Blue Rabbit syncs the medication to ezyVet. The synced medication shows in ezyVet as a product record.
All ezyVet product records that are a result of a sync from Blue Rabbit show in a Blue Rabbitproduct group in ezyVet. Product record example shows a product record in ezyVet for a product that Blue Rabbit synced to ezyVet. The Primary Group box identifies the product group for a product. Thus, because the product is synced from Blue Rabbit, Primary Group shows Blue Rabbit.Figure 3. Product record example
Note: In the settings of ezyVet product records for medications that ezyVet syncs from Blue Rabbit, ezyVet automatically makes these changes as a result of a sync:
ezyVet sets Is Bought to No
ezyVet sets Is Sold to No
As a result of the settings changes, ezyVet product records for Blue Rabbit medications do not cause a change to product revenue reporting.
Note: Do not make settings changes to ezyVet product records that Blue Rabbit synced to ezyVet. And do not use ezyVet to invoice the synced products to clients.
