Configure the MWI Animal Health integration

Before staff can use MWI Animal Health features with ezyVet, a practice manager must configure the applicable integration.

  • Make sure that your site has a dedicated supplier contact record for the MWI Animal Health integration
  • Make sure that you have an MWI Animal Health account
  • Make sure that you know the username, password, and ID of your MWI Animal Health account
  • Send an email to MWI Animal Health customer support (ECommerceSupport@mwianimalhealth.com) and tell them that you want to enable the integration
To configure the integration, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

    ezyVet shows the New Integration Setting screen.
  3. In the Integration box, select MWI.

  4. If the ezyVet site uses a department configuration, use the For Division box to select an applicable department.
    Note: If your site does not use a department configuration, ezyVet does not show the For Division box.
  5. In the Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record.
  6. Enter your MWI Animal Health account information in the boxes of the Integration Settings section.

  7. Select Save.

  8. Set Payment Option to the applicable payment method.

    Note: Payment Option only shows a credit card method after you:
    • Enter credit card information in your MWI Animal Health account
    • Tell the accounts receivable department of MWI Animal Health to add a credit card to your account
  9. If applicable, set Use Approval Chain (Approve order on MWI portal) to YES.

    Note: If you set Use Approval Chain (Approve order on MWI portal) to YES, you must use your MWI Animal Health account to approve orders.
  10. In the Auto-update section, select the applicable settings.

  11. Select Validate Account.

    If the configuration is correct, ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

  12. Select Save.

ezyVet has a configured integration for MWI Animal Health.
