For correct operation of some types of diagnostics integrations, a practice manager must configure the Emailed Labs integration. After a practice manager configures the integration, the applicable diagnostics supplier can send diagnostic test results directly to the applicable clinical record.

After a practice manager configures the Emailed Labs integration, it shows a special email address. The special email address is applicable to your organization’s site. The practice manager sends the email address to the diagnostics supplier and tells them to use it to send diagnostic test results to your organization. ezyVet uses the email address to automatically receive the diagnostic test results in the applicable clinical record.

Note: You cannot set a different email address when you configure the Emailed Labs integration. You can only use the special email address that the integration automatically shows after you configure the integration.

Note: The special email address is applicable to an ezyVet database. You cannot set a different email address for each department. The integration shows a For Division box in its settings but ezyVet ignores the box.

Only some types of diagnostics integration use the Emailed Labs integration (for example, the Gribbles Veterinary integration). Other diagnostics integrations do not use the Emailed Labs integration but include the same function as the Emailed Labs integration. For example, the IDEXX Reference Laboratories integration automatically receives diagnostic test results in the applicable clinical record without the Emailed Labs integration.
