Awanui Veterinary configuration

Configure the standard diagnostics integration (SDI) for Awanui Veterinary

After a practice manager configures the API integration for Awanui Veterinary, they must configure the standard diagnostics integration (SDI).

  • Make sure that your ezyVet site has a configured API integration for Awanui Veterinary
  • Make sure that you have the necessary client ID and client secret information from Awanui Veterinary customer support
  • Make sure that your site has a dedicated supplier contact record for the integration
To configure the standard diagnostics integration, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

    ezyVet shows a New Integration Setting screen.
  3. In the Integration box, select Gribbles Veterinary NZ (SDI).

  4. If your site has a department configuration, use the For Division box to select the applicable department.
    Note: If your site does not use a department configuration, ezyVet does not show the For Division box.
  5. In the Supplier box, select the applicable supplier contact record.

  6. In the API Partner box, select the applicable configured API integration.

  7. In the Client ID box and Client Secret box, enter the client ID and client secret information.

  8. In the Grant Type box, enter client_credentials

  9. Select Save.

  10. Select Validate Credentials.

    If the configuration is correct, ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

  11. In the Product Group box, select an applicable product group for diagnostic tests.

  12. In the Prefix for Product Codes box, enter text that ezyVet automatically puts before all diagnostic test codes of the diagnostics supplier.

    Tip: The Prefix for Product Codes text makes it easier to find diagnostic tests of the diagnostics supplier (for example, in search results). Thus, enter text that is applicable to the diagnostics supplier.
  13. In the Product markup % box, enter the initial markup percentage that ezyVet sets for all diagnostic tests of the diagnostics supplier.

  14. In the Auto-update settings section, select the applicable settings that control how the integration does automatic changes.

  15. Select Save.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

  16. Select Update Diagnostics.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message.
    Note: It is possible that the confirmation message does not show immediately. Wait while ezyVet gets diagnostic tests from the diagnostics supplier.
ezyVet has a configured standard diagnostic integration for Awanui Veterinary.
