After a practice manager does the necessary configuration, staff can:
Use clinical records to easily select modalities for diagnostic imaging requests
Quickly and easily send diagnostic imaging requests from ezyVet directly to IDEXX Web PACS
Automatically receive diagnostic imaging results in the correct clinical record
Easily get access to a set of IDEXX Web PACS tools from a diagnostic imaging result
The diagnostic imaging requests and diagnostic imaging results are fully electronic. It is not necessary for staff to manually enter patient information in the medical imaging devices and software. Thus, the IDEXX Web PACS integration decreases the staff time and manual work to do diagnostic imaging. And it helps makes sure that your patient diagnostics are accurate.Figure 1. IDEXX Web PACS and diagnostic interpretations from IDEXX Telemedicine
As an optional configuration for IDEXX Web PACS, you can use IDEXX Telemedicine for diagnostic interpretations. As a result:
You can send diagnostic interpretation requests from ezyVet directly to IDEXX Telemedicine and at the same time that you send imaging requests
You can monitor the status and the estimated time for a completed interpretation directly in ezyVet
You can open a case in IDEXX Telemedicine directly from ezyVet
When an IDEXX Telemedicine specialist completes an interpretation, IDEXX Telemedicine syncs their report directly to the applicable clinical record in ezyVet
With IDEXX Web PACS and IDEXX Telemedicine, it is not necessary to sign in to different systems to monitor interpretation cases and to get access to completed reports. When you configure IDEXX Web PACS to use IDEXX Telemedicine, you can sync a full set of IDEXX Telemedicine interpretation types to ezyVet. When you make an imaging request, you can quickly and easily select an IDEXX Telemedicine interpretation type at the same time. For each IDEXX Telemedicine interpretation types that IDEXX Telemedicine syncs to ezyVet for you to use, you can adjust its price information.
