Fetchit

About the Fetchit integration

The Fetchit integration uses ezyVet and your phone system to help you quickly and easily know which clients make phone calls to your organization. You can also use the integration to quickly make contact records for new clients.

To use Fetchit with ezyVet, a practice manager first configures the necessary integration. Then, when a client makes a phone call to your organization, the notification area of your Microsoft Windows device shows a Fetchit message. The Fetchit message could have a blue color or a red color. And the message could have different buttons.

This table gives:
  • The color and function of the Fetchit messages and buttons
  • An example of the Fetchit messages

BlueezyVet has a contact record for the client who makes the call.
The message shows:
  • The client's phone number and name
  • A FetchIt! button

If you select FetchIt!, Windows opens the client contact record in ezyVet.

A blue Fetchit message
RedezyVet does not have a contact record for the client who makes the call.
The message:
  • Shows the client's phone number
  • Can show the client's name if the client uses caller ID
  • Shows a Copy Number button
  • Shows a Skip button

If you select Copy Number, Windows tells ezyVet to make a contact record for the client. You can quickly and easily enter the client's phone number in the contact record.

If you select Skip, ezyVet does not make a contact record for the client.

A red Fetchit message
The Fetchit integration adds a Fetchit button to the notification area of your Windows device:

If you select the Fetchit button, you can get access to a Call History dialog box. The Call History dialog box shows:
  • The name and phone number of each client who made a phone call to your organization
  • The date and time of each call

If you select an entry that has black text in the Call History dialog box, Windows opens the client contact record in ezyVet.
