Sync settings of the rVetLink integration
The rVetLink integration has settings to select the data types that ezyVet syncs with rVetLink.
This table gives each sync setting of the rVetLink integration and its function:

The Default for new Appointment setting has a Filter by appointment type setting. Use the setting to make sure that ezyVet and your staff can only sync specified appointment types. If an appointment has an appointment type that you did not specify:

| Default for new Attachment | Use Default for new Attachment to automatically sync applicable medical files from the patient record to rVetLink. Tip: rVetLink customer support recommends that you set Default for new Attachment to OFF. To sync a file to rVetLink, in the Attachments section of a patient's clinical record, select the link icon of the applicable file. Note: After you select the icon, it changes to a green color. To automatically sync file attachments that have the same text in their names, set Always share with wildcards to YES. When Always share with wildcards is set to YES, you can enter the text that will show in attachment types that automatically sync to rVetLink. For example, if the names of all attachments from SmartFlow start with SFS, enter SFS* to automatically sync Vet Radar attachments. The Default for new Attachment setting has an Allow users to override default setting. If you set Allow users to override default to YES:

| Default for new Clinical Summary | If you set Default for new Clinical Summary to OFF, your staff must sync clinical summary information to rVetLink manually. rVetLink customer support recommends that you set Default for new Clinical Summary to OFF if your staff:

Set Default for new Clinical Summary to ON to automatically sync clinical summary information to rVetLink. rVetLink customer support recommends that you set Default for new Clinical Summary to ON, if your staff:
Important: If you set Default for new Clinical Summary to ON, ezyVet automatically sets the Share Online setting in clinical summaries to YES. As a result, each time that your staff saves a clinical summary, ezyVet sends the clinical summary to rVetLink. If you do not want ezyVet to send the clinical summary, close the clinical summary tab using the ✕ icon.

| Default for new Diagnostic Result | To automatically sync diagnostic results to rVetLink, set Default for new Diagnostic Result to ON. If you set Default for new Diagnostic Result to ON, ezyVet automatically sets the Share Online setting in diagnostic results to YES. Note: diagnostic results to rVetLink, they show in the rVetLink portal. But rVetLink does not send information about the diagnostic results to the applicable referring practice. Note: Default for new Diagnostic Result is only applicable for diagnostic results that can show directly in a table in an ezyVet clinical record. If a diagnostic result is in a PDF document, you must sync it to rVetLink as a file attachment. Referring practices can get access to the file in the Diagnostic Results section of the Patient Chart screen in rVetLink. To manually sync diagnostic results to rVetLink, set Default for new Diagnostic Result to OFF. The Default for new Diagnostic Result setting has an Allow users to override default setting. | Default for new Discharge Summary | To automatically sync discharge summary information to rVetLink, set Default for new Discharge Summary to ON. Note: If you set Default for new Discharge Summary to ON, ezyVet automatically sets the Share Online setting in discharge summaries to YES. As a result, each time that your staff saves a discharge summary, ezyVet sends the discharge summary to rVetLink. If you do not want ezyVet to send the discharge summary, close the discharge summary tab using the ✕ icon. To manually sync diagnostic results to rVetLink, set Default for new Diagnostic Result to OFF. The Default for new Discharge Summary setting has an Allow users to override default setting. If you set Allow users to override default to YES:

| Default for new Prescription | To automatically sync prescription information to rVetLink, set Default for new Prescription to ON. If you set Default for new Prescription to ON, automatically sets the Share Online setting in diagnostic results to YES. Note: When you automatically sync prescription information to rVetLink, it shows in the rVetLink portal. But rVetLink does not send information about the prescription information to the applicable referring practice. If it is necessary to not sync a product group to rVetLink:

| Default for new Master Problem | To automatically sync master problem information to rVetLink, set Default for new Master Problem to ON. If you set Default for new Master Problem to ON, automatically sets the Share Online setting in applicable procedures to YES. Note: When you automatically sync master problem information to rVetLink, it shows in the rVetLink portal. But rVetLink does not send information about the master problem information to the applicable referring practice. To manually sync master problem information to rVetLink, set Default for new Master Problem to OFF. The Default for new Master Problem setting has an Allow users to override default setting. If you set Allow users to override default to YES:

Note: When you automatically sync clinical procedure information to rVetLink, it shows in the rVetLink portal. But rVetLink does not send information about the clinical procedure information. To manually sync clinical procedure information to rVetLink, set Default for new Therapeutic / Procedure to OFF.
