Configure the integration for Windcave terminal payments

Before your organization can use Windcave terminal payments with ezyVet, a practice manager must configure the integration.

  • Read the information in step 7 of this procedure and if necessary make sure that your site has a configured integration for Windcave hosted payments.
  • Speak to Windcave customer support (support@windcave.com) and make sure that you have:
    • The REST API user ID for the integration
    • The REST API key for the integration
    • The station ID for the integration
Note: ezyVet customer support cannot give you the REST API user ID, REST API key and station ID. You must speak to Windcave customer support.
Note: If you want to save payment card information with Windcave terminal payments, make sure that your site has a configured integration for Windcave hosted payments.
To configure the integration, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

  3. In the Integration box, select Windcave.

  4. In the User ID box, Key box, and Station box, enter the REST API user ID, REST API key, and station ID.

  5. In the Terminal Name(Must be unique) box, enter a name for the payment terminal.

    Tip: Use a name that makes it easy to identify the terminal.
    Note: If your site uses more than one configured Windcave integration, you must use a different terminal name for each configured integration.
  6. Set Prompt before storing customer's card to the applicable setting.

    This table gives each setting and its function:
    SettingFunction
    Prompt to saveezyVet shows a pop-up window that you or the client can use to save payment card information.
    Never SaveezyVet does not save payment card information.
    Always SaveezyVet always saves payment card information automatically.
    Note: *If you select Prompt to save or Always Save, you must select a configured integration for Windcave hosted payments in step 7.
  7. In the Linked Hosted Payment Integration box, select the applicable configured integration for Windcave hosted payments.

  8. Select Save.

  9. Select Validate Account.

    If the configuration is correct, ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

  10. Select Save.

Your site has a configured Windcave terminal payments integration.
