Get your VETSCAN FUSE client ID

Before you can replace a VETSCAN FUSE integration with the Zoetis point-of-care integration, you must get your organization's VETSCAN FUSE client ID from the VETSCAN FUSE interface.

Warning: After you complete this procedure, your VETSCAN FUSE integration will not operate. Thus, after you complete this procedure, immediately complete the steps given in Replace a VETSCAN FUSE integration with a Zoetis point-of-care integration.
To get your client ID, do this procedure.
  1. Sign in to the VETSCAN FUSE interface.
  2. In the left sidebar, select SETTINGS.
  3. In the CONFIGURATION section, select PIMS Integration.
  4. Select MODIFY PIMS.
    VETSCAN FUSE shows the PIMS Setup dialog box.
  5. In the Pims provider box, select EzyVet Proxy (New Zealand).
  6. Select CONNECT FOR THE FIRST TIME.
    Warning: Do not select RETRIEVE EXISTING CONNECTION FROM ANOTHER FUSE.
    VETSCAN FUSE shows new boxes.
  7. In the Email box, enter your email address.
  8. Select Connect.
    VETSCAN FUSE automatically enters the client ID and client token in the Client ID and Client Token boxes.
  9. Select the button that is adjacent to the Client ID box.
    Your device puts the client ID in its clipboard.
  10. Paste the client ID into a text file and save it to your device.
  11. Select SAVE & RESTART.
You have the VETSCAN FUSE client ID.
