About data validation of product records

During your onboarding process, the data conversion process converts data from your source practice information management system (PIMS) into an ezyVet trial site. While your data is in the trial site, you must complete the data validation procedures. The procedures make sure that the data conversion process correctly converted your data.

Important: You must complete the procedures before the pre-go-live conversion.
ezyVet customer support recommends that you do checks of a minimum of 10 product records, and that you do checks of a mixture of different product records. For example, ezyVet customer support recommends that you do checks of:
  • Product records that you made in the previous six months
  • Product records that you made more than six months before today
  • Product records that you know fully
For each product record, you must complete each data validation procedure. The image and table that follow show:
  • Settings and areas of a product record
  • The data validation procedure of each setting or area of a product record
