About data validation of contact records

During your onboarding process, the data conversion process converts data from your source practice information management system (PIMS) into an ezyVet trial site. While your data is in the trial site, you must complete the data validation procedures. The procedures make sure that the data conversion process correctly converted your data.

Important: You must complete the procedures before the pre-go-live conversion.
ezyVet customer support recommends that you examine a minimum of 10 contact records, and that you examine a mixture of different contact records. For example, ezyVet customer support recommends that you examine:
  • Contact records that you made in the previous six months
  • Contact records that you made more than six months before today
  • Contact records that you know fully
For each contact record, you must complete each data validation procedure. The image and table that follow show:
  • Settings and areas of a client contact record
