The data conversion process converts your data from AlisVet to ezyVet. It is important that you know how product data is converted into ezyVet. For example, it is important that you know how the data conversion process converts the financial information of products.

Note: The data conversion process cannot convert an organization's inventory records. The Implementation team add the organization's inventory records to ezyVet during the go-live conversion.

Product codes.	Yes	The data conversion process converts product codes. The data conversion process converts the source PIMS product code. ezyVet shows the product code in the Product Code box of the product record: Note: In ezyVet, one product record cannot have the same product code as a different product record. If the source PIMS has two product records with the same product code, the data conversion process makes a different code for one of the product records. Note: The data conversion process automatically adds a prefix to the product codes.
Product names.	Yes	The data conversion process converts product names. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet product record shows the applicable product name in the Product Name box:
The primary types of products (for example, medications).	Yes	The data conversion process converts the primary types of products. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet product record shows the primary type of the product in the Primary Group box: Note: The data conversion automatically process adds a prefix to the primary types of products. You cannot remove the prefix.
Product cost prices.	Yes	The data conversion process converts product cost prices. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet product record shows the product cost price in the Cost box:
Product markups.	Yes	The data conversion process converts product cost prices. After the data conversion process is completed, the ezyVet product record shows the product cost price in the Cost box:

Tax rates of products. Important: It is important that the prospective customer gives their three tax rates before the data conversion process begins	Yes	The data conversion process converts the tax rates of products. Service fees of products.	Yes	The data conversion process converts service fees of product records. After the data conversion process is completed, the Service Fees setting of an ezyVet product record is set to Yes or No. If the Service Fees setting is set to Yes, the product record shows more settings:
Controlled drugs.	Yes	The data conversion process can convert a product as a controlled drug. The data conversion process is complete automatically sets the Is Controlled Drug setting to Yes: Note: Before the data conversion process can convert a product a controlled drug, the AlisVet product description must show: Control Contrôl control contrôl
Drug numbers.	Yes	The data conversion process can convert drug numbers. After the data conversion process is completed, the Product Identifer box shows the drug number of the applicable product record:
Medication instructions.	Yes	The data conversion process can convert medication instructions. After the data conversion process is completed, the Instructions box of the Other Details section shows the medication instructions:
Product notes.	Yes	The data conversion process can convert product notes. After the data conversion process is completed, the Notes box shows the product notes: Note: If your AlisVet product record has a notes alert enabled, the data conversion process automatically activates the Notes Important setting.
