About client registration in the Vello client portal
If a person is not a client of your practice, they can use the Vello client portal to complete client registration.

Registration information and ezyVet records
A new client's registration information syncs to ezyVet. As a result, it is not necessary for staff to make the applicable records directly in ezyVet.
This table shows the registration information that a new client enters in the client portal, and where the information syncs to in ezyVet:

Note: If a client starts to enter address information in the Address box, Vello automatically shows available addresses that the client can select. To enter their address manually, they can select Enter manually.

Tip:
If a client added previous practice information, Vello shows a message in the applicable appointment entry in the Requests & Notifications screen to tell you.

General steps to let new clients complete registration
This table shows each step that a practice manager must do to let new clients complete registration in the client portal and information about it:

Client registration and the Requests & Notifications screen
After a new client makes an appointment for a new pet, the Requests & Notifications screen shows an appointment entry for the appointment. And the screen shows a New label in the Patient column for the applicable appointment entry.
