About the Appointment Review screen

You can use the Appointment Review screen to easily monitor confirmed and unconfirmed appointments of one day.

In the Appointment Review screen, you can:
  • Use filters to quickly and easily find information
  • Get access to appointments of a specified date
  • Know if an appointment is confirmed or unconfirmed
  • Know if a client completed an applicable Vello form for an appointment
  • Know if a client receives appointment reminders from Vello
  • Confirm an unconfirmed appointment
  • Send a form reminder in a text message to a client

Access to the Appointment Review screen

You can use the Appointment Review screen as an alternative to the Unconfirmed Appointments screen. To get access, select Try It in the Unconfirmed Appointments screen:

If you want to use the Unconfirmed Appointments screen again, select Switch Back in the Appointment Review screen:

Areas and functions of the Appointment Review screen

This image and table give the areas or functions of the Appointment Review screen and information about it:

Area or functionInformation
1Vello automatically shows your practice's appointments for today. You can use the arrows to select a different date in the next seven days.
2This area shows:
  • The scheduled time of the appointment
  • The appointment type
  • The staff member of the appointment
3This area shows:
  • The patient name, age, breed, and sex
  • The client name
  • The phone number of the client
4The Appointment Review screen shows a set of filters that you can use to quickly and easily find information. The available filters are:
  • Unconfirmed Appointments
  • Confirmed Appointments
  • Incomplete Forms
To change the sequence of the appointments shown, you can also use these Sort by filters:
  • Time
  • Appointment type
5The NEEDS ATTENTION section of an appointment shows one of these appointment statuses:
  • Appointment confirmed
  • Appointment unconfirmed
If the section shows Appointment unconfirmed, you can select Mark as confirmed to confirm the appointment. After you confirm the appointment:
  1. Vello syncs the applicable appointment status back to your PIMS calendar
  2. The appointment shows Appointment confirmed status
6If it is necessary for a client to complete a Vello form for an appointment, the NEEDS ATTENTION section can show one of:
  • Forms completed
  • Incomplete Form
If the section shows Incomplete Form and you select Send reminder to:
  1. Vello shows the conversation view in the Vello inbox for the applicable client
  2. Vello automatically makes a form reminder in a text message that you can send to the client

7If a client receives automatic appointment reminders from Vello, this area shows a Vello icon for the appointment.
