Verification steps to get access to your practice's client portal

The Vello client portal has verification steps for your email address or mobile phone number. The verification steps are necessary before you can get access to your practice's client portal.

You select a link in a text message reminder: Link in a text message reminderVello automatically does the verification of your mobile phone number. As a result, you can sign in to the client portal with your mobile phone number.
If you want to sign in with your email address and you did not use it for sign-in previously, email verification is necessary. To do email verification:
  1. In the client portal, select Please verify your email address:
    Please verify your email address button
  2. Do the verification steps
Note: As an alternative method for email verification, you can select a button in an email reminder. As a result, Vello automatically does the email verification and you can sign in to the client portal with your email address.
You select a button in an email reminder to get access to the client portal. The types of buttons that you select include:
  • A button to confirm an appointment
  • A button to read appointment information
  • A button to make an appointment

Vello automatically does the verification of your email address. As a result, you can sign in to the client portal with your email address.
If you want to sign in with your mobile phone number and you did not use it for sign-in previously, verification is necessary. To do verification of your mobile phone number:
  1. You enter your mobile phone number in the sign-in page
  2. Vello sends a verification code to your device
  3. You do the verification steps
  1. You did not sign in to the client portal previously
  2. You enter your mobile phone number in the sign-in page of the client portal after you use one of these access methods:
    • The Vello app
    • Your practice's sign-in link
    • Your practice's QR code
Verification of your mobile phone number is necessary. To do the verification of your mobile phone number:
  1. Vello sends a verification code to your device
  2. Do the verification steps

As a result, you can sign in to the client portal with your mobile phone number.

If you want to sign in with your email address and you did not use it for sign-in previously, email verification is necessary:
  1. In the client portal, select Please verify your email address:
    Please verify your email address button
  2. Do the verification steps
Note: As an alternative method for email verification, you can select a button in an email reminder. As a result, Vello automatically does the email verification and you can sign in to the client portal with your email address.
