Connect a patient record that you made directly in SmartFlow with ezyVet records

If you made a patient record directly in SmartFlow, you can connect the SmartFlow patient record to an ezyVet patient record and an ezyVet contact record. After you connect the records, ezyVet syncs the clinical care that you recorded in SmartFlow to the ezyVet clinical record. And if you added products to the patient's flowsheet in SmartFlow, ezyVet automatically adds the products to the client's invoice.

Make sure that ezyVet has equivalent records for the patient record that you made directly in SmartFlow. If ezyVet does not have equivalent records, refer to Make ezyVet records for a patient record that you made directly in SmartFlow.
To connect the records, do this procedure.
  1. Select Dashboard.

  2. Select Smart Flow.

  3. In the Unallocated Smart Flow Patient section, select the tick button that is adjacent to the applicable patient.

    ezyVet shows a New Patient dialog box.
  4. In the Existing Contact box, select the applicable client contact record.

  5. In the Existing Patient box, select the applicable patient record.

  6. Select Add.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message.
The SmartFlow patient record is connected to the ezyVet records. ezyVet syncs the SmartFlow patient information to the ezyVet records.
You can invoice the client for the clinical care.
