Make a clinical summary

After a practice manager makes a clinical summary, staff can select and use it in clinical records.

Make sure that your ezyVet site has a document template with content for the applicable clinical summary.
To make a clinical summary, do this procedure.
Note: This procedure is an example that uses:
  • A document template
  • A clinical summary that shows medications and information about the patient and client
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Clinical.

  3. Select Clinical Summary Names.

    ezyVet shows a New Clinical Summary screen.
  4. In the Name box, enter a name for the clinical summary.
  5. Set the first Use button to YES, then set Split By to Type or Date.

    Note: Type tells the clinical to show information in groups of clinical information types. Date tells the clinical support to show information in groups of dates.
  6. Set the second Use box to YES, then use the Default Template box to select an applicable document template.
  7. Set the third Use box to YES.
  8. In the Exclude box, drag Medications and Animal/Owner Details to the Include box.

  9. Select Save.
