A clinical summary does not print, or a file attachment of the clinical summary does not open

Condition

Do this troubleshooting if you cannot print a clinical summary, or if you cannot open a file attachment of a clinical summary.

A file attachment of the clinical summary is damaged

A clinical summary can include file attachments of the clinical record (for example, a diagnostic result as a PDF document). If a file attachment is damaged, ezyVet cannot use it in the clinical summary.

The clinical record is not damaged. Only the file attachment is damaged, and the clinical record does not show an error message.

Find the damaged file attachment, then deactivate it

A file attachment is damaged if one or more of these conditions is true:
  • The file attachment shows 0.00B
  • The file attachment does not open
  • ezyVet shows an error message when you open the file attachment
  • The clinical summary is correct after you remove the file attachments from it
Note: This procedure is applicable to a patient's clinical record. You can also do the procedure from the Attachment tab of a patient record.
  1. Select Clinical.
    The Clinical tab
The left sidebar shows clinical records of your ezyVet site.
  2. In the left sidebar, find and select the applicable clinical record.
ezyVet shows settings and information of the clinical record.
  3. Select Attachment.
    The Attachment tab
  4. Examine each file attachment.
If a file attachment shows 0.00B in the Size column of the table, the file attachment is damaged.
  5. Open each file attachment.
If a file attachment does not open, or if ezyVet shows an error message, the file attachment is damaged.
  6. For each damaged file, select the Disable button.
