A diagnostic result has an incorrect patient

Diagnostic results show in the Diagnostic Result section of applicable ezyVet screens. Screens that show the Diagnostic Result section include:
  • The Diagnostics tab of a patient record
  • The Medical tab of a clinical record
  • The Diagnostics tab of a client contact record
  • The Diagnostics dashboard tab

Diagnostic result in a Diagnostic Result section
If a diagnostic result shows in a Diagnostic Result section that is not for the correct patient, do this troubleshooting.
Note: One cause of the problem is if a staff member selects the incorrect patient for a test that they completed with a diagnostics device.

Set the correct patient and other applicable information

  1. In the Diagnostic Result section in the applicable ezyVet screen, double-click the result entry.

    ezyVet shows a Diagnostic Result dialog box with information about the result.
  2. In the Patient box, select the correct patient.
  3. In the Consult box, select the correct clinical record.
  4. In the Vet box, select the applicable veterinarian.
  5. If applicable, use the Request box to select the correct diagnostic request for the diagnostic result.
  6. Select Update.
