About product configuration for microchip procedures
If your organization does microchip procedures, a practice manager can configure a microchip product. A microchip product is a product record that has a dedicated setting for microchip procedures.
A practice manager usually configures a microchip product for:
The cost of the microchip item
The costs of the microchip procedures
If a new invoice has a microchip product and a staff member approves the invoice, ezyVet automatically shows a Set Microchip Number dialog box. A staff member uses the Set Microchip Number dialog box to enter the microchip number.Figure 1. The Set Microchip Number dialog box
The applicable patient record shows the microchip number in the Microchip Number box of the Details tab:
