ezyVet usually shows a product's name in the Description box of applicable records. But if necessary, a practice manager can use the Printable Name box of a product’s configuration to set an alternative product name.
If a product has an alternative product name, ezyVet shows the alternative product name in the Description box. Thus, the alternative product name overrides the product name that ezyVet usually shows in the Description box.
Examples of applicable records that can show an alternative product name include:
Invoices
Estimates
Documents made from templates
Medication labels
Invoice columns shows the Product and Description columns of an invoice. The invoice line item shows a product with the name Travel. The product does not have an alternative product name. Thus, the Product and Description columns show the same product name.Figure 1. Invoice columns

Template variables for alternative product names
The Twig template system has the {{ invoiceline.Product.PrintableName }} template variable. It shows the alternative name that a practice manager configured for the product. You can use {{ invoiceline.Product.PrintableName }} with invoices.
