Add an interested contact to a patient record

After you add an interested contact to a patient record, the person who is the interested contact receives information about the patient (for example, automatic reminders). And you can select the person when you send messages from ezyVet.

To add interested contact information to a patient record, do this procedure.

Select Patients.
The left sidebar shows the patient records of your site.
Find and select the applicable patient record.
Select Details.
Go to the Other Details section.
In the Other Interested Contacts box, select the contact record of the applicable person.
If necessary, select the override reminders checkbox that is adjacent to the Other Interested Contacts box.

Note: If you select the checkbox, only the interested contact receives automatic reminders about the patient. If you do not select the checkbox, only the patient owner receives automatic reminders.
Select Save.
