Disable a demeanor status

After you disable a demeanor status, staff cannot select it in patient records.

To disable a status, do this procedure.
Note: After you complete this procedure, ezyVet does not automatically remove the disabled demeanor status from patient records that use the status. You must manually remove it from the records.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Patients.
The Patients setting in the settings list
  3. Select Demeanors.
    The Demeanors setting
The left sidebar shows configured demeanor statuses.
  4. Find and select the demeanor status that you want to disable.
ezyVet shows the demeanor status settings.
  5. Select Disable.
    The Disable button
ezyVet shows an Are You Sure? pop-up window.
  6. Select Disable.
    The Disable button
    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:
    A confirmation message
The demeanor status is disabled. And ezyVet shows a message that tells you the number of patient records that use the disabled demeanor status.
If necessary, manually remove the demeanor status from applicable patient records. To remove it, you can:
  • Go to each applicable patient record and make the change
  • Use the Records dashboard tab to make the change to all applicable patient records at the same time
