ezyVet version 44.3 is available from February 10, 2026.

Changes to document templates for insurance claims

ezyVet version 44.3 has these changes to document templates for insurance claims that do not have a related insurance integration:
  • In ezyVet system settings, the name of the eClaim Invoice box changed to Non-Integrated eClaim Invoice
  • ezyVet has a new Insurance Claim & Treatments document template
  • The Insurance Claim & Treatments document template automatically shows in the Non-Integrated eClaim Invoice box
  • For an applicable insurance claim, ezyVet automatically selects the Insurance Claim & Treatments document template in the Generate Attachments dialog box

The new Insurance Claim & Treatments document template includes this information:
  • Claim information
  • Patient and claim conditions
  • Applicable invoice line items
Note: In ezyVet system settings, you can change the document template that ezyVet automatically selects in the Generate Attachments dialog box.

Change: New Batch column in Restricted Veterinary Medicine Prescriptions table

The table in the RVM - Medications tab of client contact records has a new Batch column. For each applicable medication, the column can show:
  • The batch information
  • The quantity of administered medication
  • The expiration date

Other changes

Configured appointment types: In the Color Scheme section of ezyVet system settings, ezyVet only shows a color once. Previously, ezyVet showed some colors more than one time. And it was possible that some colors were the same as other colors shown.

In ezyVet system settings, if you select Individual Medication Prescription Items Numbered and Visible Onscreen and on Labels, the Medication Prescription dialog box only shows Med # output for prescriptions that you save.

Fix: Appointments, planning guides, and daylight saving time

If you try to make an appointment or planning guide during the missing hour in the first day of daylight saving time, ezyVet:
  1. Shows an error message
  2. Does not save the appointment or planning guide

Previously, ezyVet showed a confirmation message but did not save the appointment or planning guide.

Fixes

If you use billing triggers to add a medication that uses batch tracking, the batch information shows correctly in the Medication tab of clinical records. Previously, the Medication tab did not show batch information.

Records dashboard tab: If you export a CSV file of records of wellness plan memberships, ezyVet shows the records correctly. Previously, if you selected a large quantity of records, ezyVet showed this error message: 414 Request-URI Too Large.

Remote payments: ezyVet correctly uses the period that a practice manager set in the Remote payment link duration in days setting of the payment method. Previously, it was possible for a client to use the link after the configured period.

Communication records for a patient: In the What column for communication record entries, ezyVet shows the correct appointment date and time. Previously, if you deactivated an appointment, the What column showed an incorrect time.

When you try to make an appointment for a time in the afternoon, ezyVet correctly makes the appointment. Previously, ezyVet showed this error message: Invalid appointment time.

If you make changes to a medication quantity in a SmartFlow anesthetic sheet, ezyVet makes one approval task for the change. Previously, ezyVet incorrectly made the same approval task two times for the one quantity change.

Units of measurement for medications: To identify a tablet, ezyVet shows tab - Tablet. Previously, ezyVet showed table - Tablet.
