Release notes: ezyVet version 43.5

ezyVet version 43.5 is available from October 7, 2025.

Change: Terms and conditions and privacy policy in the online portal

The online portal can show links to:
  • A privacy policy
  • Terms and conditions

Clients can get access to the links in the left sidebar of the online portal, or when they use the online portal to sign up. When a client selects a link, the online portal shows the applicable policy.

Note: The changes make sure that your organization obeys General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Other changes

When you make an ezyVet user account, you cannot use ezyvet.com in the username. Previously, new user accounts could include ezyvet.com in the username.
Note: This change is only applicable to new ezyVet user accounts.

ezyVet system settings: ezyVet version 43.5 removes the Use Old Windcave Integration? setting from the Payments tab in Financial Settings because it had no function.

Shorthand text: When you make a shorthand text item, you must enter a name in the Shorthand box of the text item settings. Previously, it was optional to include information in the Shorthand box.

ezyVet version 43.5 can have more than one PayJunction API integration. Also, different PayJunction API integrations can sync different payments with the same transaction ID to ezyVet. Previously, ezyVet could not have more than one payment with the same transaction ID.

For configuration of diagnostic interpretation records in ezyVet, this information is mandatory:
  • A name for the interpretation
  • A diagnostic interpretation code that is different from other diagnostic interpretation codes
Previously, it was possible to save a diagnostic interpretation record without a name or with a code of a different diagnostic interpretation record.

Fix: Diagnostic requisition forms, invoicing, and clinical records

After you add a diagnostic request to an invoice directly:
  1. ezyVet automatically adds the applicable requisition form for the diagnostic integration to the Diagnostic Form box in the New Diagnostic Request dialog box
  2. If you open the New Diagnostic Request dialog box from the applicable clinical record, the Diagnostic Form box has the requisition form

Previously, the Diagnostic Form box was empty.

Fix: Billing trigger configuration for site diagnostic tests

ezyVet correctly removes the billing trigger in the Primary Billing Trigger box if you:
  1. Add a billing trigger in the Other Billing Triggers section
  2. Remove the billing trigger in the Primary Billing Trigger box
  3. Select Save

Previously, ezyVet did not remove the billing trigger in the Primary Billing Trigger box.

Other fixes

If your organization does not have a configured welcome email for the online portal, the Welcome Email box in the configuration settings for the online portal is empty. Previously, the Welcome Email box incorrectly showed a selection.

The Payment Summary report shows a payment method's ID if it has the same name as a different payment method. If one of the payment methods is deactivated, the report shows INACTIVE before the payment method's name. Previously, if two or more payment methods had the same name and one was deactivated, the deactivated payment method did not show in Payment Summary reports.

Change logs for user accounts and products show the correct entries. Previously, change logs for user accounts could show entries about products. And product change logs could show entries for the incorrect product.

Configuration settings for the online portal: If you set Guests can create new Contacts and Animals to NO, it is not possible for clients to add a patient in the online portal. Previously, clients could add a patient in the online portal.

ezyVet version 43.5 corrected a problem that caused diagnostic test results from Zoetis point-of-care to have the incorrect date and time.
