Changes

Product record settings have a new Show Disabled setting for department pricing. If you disable a department pricing entry for a product, select Show Disabled to show the disabled entry. If necessary, you can enable the pricing again.

The Records dashboard tab has a new Action setting of Enable Department Pricing. Use Enable Department Pricing to enable department pricing for products.

Action settings of the Records dashboard tab: Changed the name of Remove Department Pricing to Disable Department Pricing.

If a table does not have a checkbox column, the footer of the table does not show a checkbox:

Payment Summary report: Added the Card Brand Totals tab. The tab shows the total value of client payments of each card brand.

Text is easier to read in many areas of the ezyVet user interface. The areas include:
  • Tables
  • Buttons
  • User interface boxes
  • Change logs

Vello Client Engagement: When you select Connect Now, your browser shows a screen that you can use to confirm your organization's information.

IDEXX VetConnect PLUS:
  • A diagnostic test can have a contract cost price of zero
  • If you allocate an unallocated diagnostic test result to a patient, and the patient has other unallocated diagnostic test results, ezyVet automatically assigns the other unallocated diagnostic test results to the patient.

Integration for Vetcove Home Delivery: From July 1, 2024, you cannot use the Animal Notes box of a patient record to record patient orders.

Change to the Dispense Request Table of the Medications dashboard tab: Increased the width of the Dispense Status column. The column shows the full text of the dispense status.

Changes to the sequence that the ezyVet sign-in screen uses to show database entities, business units, and departments. The sign-in screen uses this sequence:
  1. Database entities
  2. Business units
  3. Departments
The sign-in screen uses an alphanumeric sequence to show groups of database entities, business units, and departments. For example, an ezyVet site with two business units and two departments uses this sequence:
  1. Business unit A
  2. Business unit B
  3. Department A
  4. Department B

Minor change to the size of the Consult Timeline section of clinical records.

This version of ezyVet includes many changes to billing triggers. The changes are applicable only to the ezyVet code and they do not change the features, functions, and user interface of the ezyVet app. If your ezyVet site has problems that you think are possibly related to the changes, please make a support ticket or speak to ezyVet customer support.

Minor changes to the scroll bar of the Consult Timeline section that make it easier to select and move.

Fixes

The left sidebar of integration settings shows records in the correct sequence.

IP allowlists: Corrected a problem that caused ezyVet to show the It appears you have logged into the wrong location. error message when you were signed in to the correct department.

The standard diagnostics integration (SDI) for Gribbles Veterinary: Corrected a problem that caused ezyVet to send disabled diagnostic records when you send a custom diagnostic record.

PayJunction: Corrected a problem that let you disable a payment record of a different business unit.

ezyVet correctly shows the change log of a site diagnostic test.

Clinical summaries:
  • Corrected a problem that caused the Physical Exam section and the History section to show a staff member's name many times
  • Corrected a problem that caused the clinical summary to show the logo of a different department if you set Split By to Consult

Inventory tracking settings of products that use batch tracking: Corrected a problem that made it not possible to set Default Oldest Batch to Yes.

Payment methods: Corrected a problem that caused ezyVet to add a surcharge to a payment record again.

Code changes that could possibly correct some label printing problems.

Corrected a problem that made it not possible to change the Color Side Bar Based on Sex setting to Yes or No.

Appointment Status andBoarding reports: You can save each report as an Excel file.

Payment Revenue By Group report: If you select the same item in the Count By 1 setting and the Count By 2 setting, the report shows one Group By column.

If your user account has the Financial > Invoice > Approve and Financial > Invoice > Approve Credit Notes permissions but does not have the Administration > Tags > Create New Tags permission:
  • You can make changes to an invoice that has a credit note product and tags
  • You can approve an invoice that has a credit note product and tags

IDEXX Reference Laboratories: Corrected a problem that caused some diagnostic test requests to have the Created status if you send more than one diagnostic test request at the same time.

If a client used the e-booking system to make an appointment, the clinical record related to the appointment has the correct clinical layout.

ezyVet Go syncs the notes of a diagnostic test request to the Diagnostic Request Specifics/History box in the patient's clinical record.

If you cannot disable a payment record because of one of the conditions that follow, ezyVet shows an applicable error message:
  • Your user account does not have the Financial > Payment > Disable/Restore permission
  • Your user account is signed in to a department of a different business unit
  • You cannot disable a payment record of an integrated payment
Payment Summary report:
  • If your organization has a payment integration, ezyVet automatically selects Add the column for card types from vendor
  • The output of the report only shows the Card Brand Totals column if you selected Add the Column for card types from vendor
  • If you select Add the column for card types from vendor and the column has a total value of 0, the output of the report does not show the Card Brands Totals column

Centralized inheritance: If you use a central site to change the name of a contact record, ezyVet syncs the change to the inherited sites. If an inherited site has a contact record with the same name, the inherited ezyVet site automatically makes a contact record.

Corrected a problem that caused ezyVet to show an error message if you:
  1. Make an estimate
  2. Add a product record that has a $0 price to the estimate
  3. Use the estimate to change the price of the product
  4. Make an invoice of the estimate

Corrected a problem that caused ezyVet to make an appointment for the incorrect time when you select a period on the calendar screen.
