Receive a payment from a client

Use ezyVet to quickly and easily receive client payments directly.

Make sure the invoice that the client wants to pay is approved.

To receive the payment, do this procedure.
Note: ezyVet has many different methods that you can use to receive a payment. This procedure uses an invoice as the initial location to receive a payment.
  1. Select Financial.

  2. Select Invoices.
    The Invoices setting
    The left sidebar shows the invoice records of your site.
  3. Find and select the applicable invoice.
    ezyVet shows the settings of the invoice.
  4. Select Make Payment.
    ezyVet shows a New Payment dialog box.
  5. Select the applicable payment method.
  6. If necessary, change the value of the Payment box to the value that the client wants to pay.

    Tip: If the Payment box shows a negative value, the value is available to the client as a refund.
    Note: If you change the value in the Payment box, the selections in the Record Allocation section can change. The change is because ezyVet automatically does payment allocation for all applicable invoices.
  7. In the Record Allocation section, make sure that ezyVet automatically connected the payment to the correct records.
    Note: The entries selected in the Record Allocation section are the records that ezyVet connected the payment to.

    Tip: If you want to connect the payment to different records, change the selection.
  8. Select Pay.

You received a payment and connected the payment to the applicable record.
