To use a price adjustment rule correctly, it is important for a practice manager to know its settings.

The table that follows gives each setting that is available when you configure a price adjustment rule and its function:

Select the type of change that the price adjustment rule makes for an invoice line item. The available types are:

To configure the price adjustment rule to calculate a discount, enter a negative value.
To configure the price adjustment rule to calculate a surcharge, enter a positive value.

Note:ezyVet shows the Round Invoice Line setting only if you set Type of Adjustment to Apply to Rounding Invoice Line.
No Minimum
Use to set no minimum markup for the price adjustment rule.
Minimum Amount ($)
Use to set a minimum markup for the price adjustment rule. The price adjustment rule will not calculate a discount that is less than the dollar value given.
Minimum Percentage (%)
Use to set a minimum markup for the price adjustment rule. The price adjustment rule will not calculate a discount that is less than the percentage value given.
Dispense Fee
If you select Dispense Fee Not included, the price adjustment rule does not change the dispense fee.
If you select Dispense Fee Included, the price adjustment rule also changes the dispense fee.
If you select Discount Dispense Fee Only, the price adjustment rule only calculates a discount for the dispense fee.
Filters of a price adjustment rule
When you configure a price adjustment rule, you can set different filters. The filters have almost the same function as the Records dashboard filters.Figure 2. Filters of a price adjustment rule
