Set mandatory information for new contact records

In a new site, it is not necessary to enter all types of information to make and save a contact record. For example, a staff member can make and save a contact record that does not have date-of-birth information. If necessary, a practice manager can set mandatory types of information for new contact records. If a staff member does not enter the mandatory information in a new contact record, they cannot save the record.

To set mandatory information, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin tab
  2. In the settings list, select Settings.
