Receive a payment with Windcave hosted payments

After a practice manager configures Windcave hosted payments, you can use it to quickly and easily receive payment from a client.

To receive a payment, do this procedure.
Note: ezyVet has different methods that you can use to receive a payment. For example:
  • You can select the New Payment button of a clinical record
  • You can select the New Payment button of a contact record
  • You can select the Make Payment button in the invoicing screen with an invoice open
  • If a practice manager did the necessary configuration for your site, you can automatically receive a payment after you approve an invoice

The first step of this procedure is the screen or New Payment dialog box that ezyVet shows when you use one of the methods to receive a payment.

  1. Select the payment method for Windcave hosted payments.
  2. In the Payment box, enter or change the payment quantity.
  3. Select Pay.
    The Pay button
    ezyVet shows a pop-up window that the client or a staff member uses to enter payment information.
    Note: ezyVet shows the Pay button if you receive payment after you approve an invoice. If you use a payment record to receive payment, the payment record shows a Save button. Use the Save button to receive payment. (A payment record does not show the Pay button.)
    Trouble: If ezyVet does not show a payment pop-up window, disable the pop-up blocker of Google Chrome.
  4. Enter the payment information or tell the client to enter the payment information.
  5. Select Submit.
    The pop-up window shows a confirmation message.
Your ezyVet site has the client payment.
