Configure the integration for PayJunction terminal payments

Before your organization can use PayJunction terminal payments, a practice manager must first configure the PayJunction API integration. Then, they must configure the PayJunction terminal payments integration.

  • Make sure that your site has a configured PayJunction API integration
  • Make sure that your PayJunction Smart Terminal device has the correct configuration
To configure the integration, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Integration.

  3. In the Integration box, select PayJunction.

  4. If the ezyVet site uses a department configuration, use the For Division box to select an applicable department.
    Note: If your site does not use a department configuration, ezyVet does not show the For Division box.
  5. In the API box, select the API username that you entered when you configured the PayJunction API integration.

  6. Use the Smart Terminal ID setting to select the applicable PayJunction Smart Terminal device.

  7. Use the Terminal ID setting to select the name of the applicable terminal ID of your PayJunction account.

  8. To make sure that the integration uses the correct terminal, select TEST TERMINAL.

  9. In the Settings section, set Prompt before storing customer's card as necessary.

    Note: To configure ezyVet to always save payment card information during a client payment, set Prompt before storing customer's card to Always Save.

    If you want ezyVet to tell you before it saves payment card information during a PayJunction client payment, set Prompt before storing customer's card to Prompt to save. If you set Prompt to save, the Select payment option dialog box that shows during a PayJunction client payment shows a Store card for future payments setting. To save the client's payment card information, select Store card for future payments.

  10. Set Prompt to request customer’s signature to YES or NO.
    Note: If you set Prompt to request customer’s signature to YES, the client must use the physical screen of the payment terminal to enter their signature.
  11. Select Save.

ezyVet has a configured integration for PayJunction terminal payments.
Tell each staff member who wants to use PayJunction terminal payments to set the applicable payment terminal for their ezyVet user account.
