Add a diagnostic test of QML Pathology to an ezyVet site

Before staff can send diagnostic test requests to QML Pathology, a practice manager must find the diagnostic tests and add them to the ezyVet site.

  • Make sure that your site has a configured integration for QML Pathology
  • Make sure that your site has a dedicated supplier contact record for the integration
To add a diagnostic test, do this procedure.
  1. Select Admin.

  2. In the settings list, select Products.

  3. Select Products.

  4. Select Lookup Product.

    ezyVet shows the Add Product(s) from Integration Supplier dialog box.
  5. In the Supplier box, select the supplier contact record of the integration.

  6. Use the Supplier Product Category box, Supplier Code box, and Supplier Prod. Name box to enter text that ezyVet uses to find the diagnostic test.

  7. Select Search.

  8. Select the diagnostic test that you want to add.

  9. In the PRODUCT GROUP box of the diagnostic test, select an applicable product group.

  10. Select Add All.

  11. Select the cross button to close the Add Product(s) from Integration Supplier dialog box.

  12. Use the search box of the left sidebar to find and select the diagnostic test type that you selected in step 8.

  13. In the Properties section, set Type to Diagnostic.

  14. In the Properties section, set Auto-generate a Site Diagnostic to Yes.

  15. Select Save.

    The Properties section shows a Diagnostic box with the name of the diagnostic test type:

  16. Double-click the Diagnostic box.

    ezyVet shows a dialog box that has the record settings of the diagnostic test.
  17. In the Supplier box, select the supplier contact record of the QML Pathology integration.

  18. Select Update.

    ezyVet shows a confirmation message:

ezyVet has a diagnostic test type for QML Pathology. Staff can select the diagnostic test when they make a diagnostic test request.
