Payments reporting for an end-of-year report

The second general step for end-of-year-reporting is to do invoice reporting.

Note: Before you start invoice reporting, make sure that you:
  1. Complete the checks given in Prepare an ezyVet site for end-of-year reporting
  2. Complete the steps given in Invoice reporting for an end-of-year report
Two reports are a good method for payments reporting during an end-of-year report:
  • The Payment Revenue By Group report
  • The Payment Summary report

Method: The Payment Revenue By Group report

The output of the Payment Revenue By Group report shows the payments received for client invoices. For a given payment, the report can show you:
  • The date that your organization received the payment
  • The date that staff completed payment allocation for the payment

Method: The Payment Summary report

The output of the Payment Summary report shows total payment quantities for each payment method.

Note: An alternative to the Payment Summary report is to use the Records dashboard tab. Use the Records dashboard tab and its filters to find specified payment records.

Next steps

After you complete payments reporting, start end-of-year reporting for inventory. For more information, refer to Inventory reporting for an end-of-year report.
