Make sure that the data conversion process correctly converted an estimate record

The data conversion process converts your organization's estimates records from your source practice information management system (PIMS) to ezyVet. You must make sure that the data conversion process converted an estimate record correctly. For example, it is important that the conversion process correctly converted each line item of an estimate record.

Make sure that you have the equivalent estimate record open in your source PIMS.
To make sure that the data conversion process correctly converted an estimate record, do this procedure.
Note: ezyVet customer support recommends that you:
  • Examine a minimum of 10 estimate records
  • Examine an estimate record of a patient that you know fully (for example, an estimate record of a patient that visits frequently)
  1. Select Financial.

  2. Select Estimates.

    ezyVet shows the estimate records of your site.
  3. Compare the total number of estimates of the left sidebar with the number of estimates of your source PIMS.
  4. Find and select the applicable estimate record.

  5. Compare the patient of the estimate with the patient of the equivalent estimate of your source PIMS.

  6. Compare the client of the estimate with the client of the equivalent estimate of your source PIMS.
  7. Compare the date of the estimate with the date of the equivalent estimate of your source PIMS.

  8. Make sure that each line item of the estimate shows the correct product and the correct quantity of each product.

  9. Compare the total amount of the estimate with the total amount of the equivalent estimate of your source PIMS.
