Once the data conversion process is completed, you will have access to your critical information in ezyVet. Our conversion process ensures that the converted data is structured to align with ezyVet's comprehensive platform, allowing for seamless integration and efficient operations.

Our aim is to ensure that most of your critical data from Vetspire is seamlessly converted into ezyVet. Our conversion process is geared towards preserving the vital information needed to maintain continuity in your practice operations. In some cases, there may be specific data that cannot be transferred as-is or might require some adjustments in ezyVet. But worry not! Our team of experts is here to lend a helping hand. To ensure a smooth transition, there might be a need for manual clean-up, mapping, or data entry for certain elements. We work closely with your team to tackle these requirements and ensure a successful migration.

Appointment record data

The data conversion process cannot automatically convert the data of sections that manually add to your Vetspire site. To make sure that the data conversion process correctly converts your clinical data, you must tell your Implementation Specialist the names of all of your Vetspire encounter types.

Financial data

The diagram that follows shows information about how the data conversion process converts financial data from Vetspire to ezyVet:

Note: The data conversion process cannot convert records of client payments. The data conversion process adds a Reverse balance generated from conversion line item to each converted invoice. The value of the line item is the negative of the total value of the invoice record. The data conversion process adds the line item so that the client does not have a debit or a credit related to their contact record.

Product data

The diagram that follows shows information about how the data conversion process converts product data from Vetspire to ezyVet:

Note: ezyVet product records can only have one tax rate. If your Vetspire product records have different tax rates, the data conversion process automatically adds the value of the tax rates into one tax rate. For example, if a Vetspire product record has a 5% state tax and a 5% city tax, the data conversion process sets a 10% tax for the ezyVet product record.

Note: The data conversion process cannot convert inventory data. After the data conversion process is completed, your Implementation Specialist can manually add your inventory data with a CSV file.
