About data validation of boarding bookings
During your onboarding process, the data conversion process converts data from your source practice information management system (PIMS) into an ezyVet trial site. While your data is in the trial site, you must complete the data validation procedures. The procedures make sure that the data conversion process correctly converted your data.
Important: You must complete the procedures before the pre-go-live conversion.
ezyVet customer support recommends that you do checks of a minimum of 10 boarding bookings, and that you do checks of a mixture of different boarding bookings. For example, ezyVet customer support recommends that you do checks of:
- Boarding bookings that you made in the previous six months
- Boarding bookings that you made more than six months before today
- Boarding bookings that you know fully
For each boarding booking, you must complete each data validation procedure. The image and table that follow show:
- Settings and areas of a boarding booking
- The data validation procedure of each setting or area of a boarding booking
