Methods and intervals that Vello uses to send medical service reminders
Use the Medical service reminders screen to configure how and when Vello sends automatic medical service reminders to clients.
The Medical service reminders screen has two sections that you can use to configure:
- If Vello sends medical service reminders in postcards
- The intervals that Vello uses to send medical service reminders in a postcard
- The methods and intervals that Vello uses to send medical service reminders in text and email reminders
Note: If Send medical service reminders is deactivated, Vello does not send text messages, emails, or postcards for medical service reminders.

Note: It is not possible to configure new intervals for postcards. For example, it is not possible to configure Vello to send postcards 15 days before a service is due. |
| Activate and configure text and email reminders | If you activate medical service reminders, Vello automatically configures medical service reminders to send:
Note: Vello automatically sends the reminders in a text message and in an email. If you want to change the interval and method that Vello uses to send medical service reminders, use the settings shown in the Text & email reminders section: You can configure the interval and method for each of the reminders shown. For example, you can configure if you want Vello to:
Note: If Send medical service reminders is activated, you must select a minimum of one Text or Email setting for the three reminders in the Text & email reminders section. If you configure a reminder to use days as the interval, you can enter a number between 0 and 45 in the text box of the applicable reminder: The number identifies how many days before or after a service is due that Vello sends the medical service reminder. If you configure a reminder to use months as the interval, you can enter a number between 2 and 12 in the text box of the applicable reminder: The number identifies how many months before or after a service is due that Vello sends the medical service reminder. |
Note: Vello does not let you select Publish Changes when you configure two text and email reminder intervals within seven days of each other. For example, you cannot configure Vello to send a medical service reminder five days before a service is due and also three days before.
After you configure the methods and intervals, Vello shows the information in the Overview screen:
